Your partner/family are welcome to come with you (often the case with Rotarians visiting from overseas).
St Johns Rotary is predominantly a breakfast club but we
have an evening meeting on the first week of each month. The evening
meeting makes it easier for family and friends to also come along and to
provide extra social time not possible at breakfast which start and
finish on time as most members need to get away to work or other
commitments.
Breakfast meetings start with some social/network time that extends
over the meal time. There is then a short period of club business
including catch-up about current projects and other opportunities of
interest within Rotary at large. Then we have a guest speaker for the
final half hour which provides members with different perspectives on
topics of general interest or in the community, local or international.
Note that one meeting a month tends to be dedicated to project review and planning.
Evening meetings have a similar format although the end time is more relaxed as we try for a special speaker that often generates a longer question time plus all are able to linger after socialising. Dining tables are circular and there is no "head table" or allocated seating (generally) so all can feel free to sit wherever they wish and meet some new people. Meals are served buffet style.

Our meetings are friendly and relaxed. Dress is smart casual. No
guest will ever find themselves standing alone as you will be greeted
and hosted as a friend of the club.
Below is a list of Upcoming Guest Speakers followed by Tasks
(Duties) allocated to members to assist the efficient running of the get
togthers.
